Meet Our President and Vice President
Fred Frederick
President
PE, RLS
Mr. Frederick has been working in the field of surveying and civil engineering
since 1974. He began as a surveyor with a major civil engineering firm
in Reading, PA.
In 1979, Mr. Frederick joined the firm of Oliver, Cump and Associates
(which later changed its name to Associated Engineering Sciences, Inc.)
in Hagerstown, MD. As chief surveyor, Mr. Frederick was in responsible
charge of such large projects as the State Highway survey contract (statewide),
the Frederick County survey contract, the Department of General Services
survey work and numerous private sector works. In 1983, Mr. Frederick
was promoted to Vice President. He was in charge of all of the State Highway
District 7 engineering projects, as well as all of the engineering for
private sector development projects.
In 1985, Mr. Frederick became a partner at J. Harold Seibert and Associates
with Mr. Seibert, the County Surveyor of Washington County, MD since 1941.
He is now the president of Frederick, Seibert, and Associates, Inc.
Mr. Frederick has also served as an expert witness on the Washington County
Circuit Court for various investigations. In addition, he has taught surveying
technology as an engineering instructor at Hagerstown Community College.
Steve Zoretich
Vice President
Registered Landscape Architect
Mr. Zoretich has been working in the field of landscape architecture
since 1983. He began his career at Environmental Planning and Design (EPD)
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (formerly Simonds and Simonds). During his
tenure at EPD, he worked on a wide range of projects from large scale
master planning for ITT in Florida which involved thousands of acres to
office parks in Pittsburgh and North Carolina. He performed detailed design
on renowned Botanic Gardens in places such as Chicago and Missouri and
completed urban designs for downtown Pittsburgh.
Mr. Zoretich joined Associated Engineering Sciences in Hagerstown, Maryland
to start their Landscape Architecture Division in 1985.
One year later, Mr. Zoretich joined Frederick, Seibert and Associates,
Inc. as a partner and has managed many large scale projects from conceptual
design through final engineering and construction in the tri-state area.
