FSA Employees Increase Education
May 20, 2003
Hagerstown, MD -
Landscape architects Daniel Hockman and Travis Flohr of Frederick-Seibert
& Associates, Inc. recently completed additional training courses.
Hockman received instruction in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at
Hagerstown Community College over a 16 week period. This course enables
him to quickly access large amounts of diverse information related to
site evaluations.
After two sessions of intensive study, Flohr fulfilled the Maryland Forest
Conservation Professional Training course requirements. This course covered
techniques such as conducting environmental field surveys, planning to
protect forests, and developing proper documentation. He is now the fifth
member of FSA certified in this area of expertise.
