The Centre at Hagerstown

FSA completed a feasibility study and performed detailed engineering for the 600,000 square feet shopping center located off of I-81 in Hagerstown. This project involved a flood study, infrastrature expansion, and site planning. Improvements were made to Interstate 81 in order to accommodate this new attraction.

Frederick, Seibert and Associates worked with Petrie Diermann and Kughn (now known as Petrie Ventures) from the initial feasibility study which assessed the site's ability to be developed. The feasibility study addressed the following items in detail: zoning, utility availability, utility extension costs, topographic constraints, soil capabilities, wetlands, flood plain impacts, stormwater management requirements, endangered species, and historic structures. Based on this report, the client authorized FSA to complete a detailed flood plain study and detailed wetlands study, to coordinate aerial survey, and to perform preliminary grading studies.

FSA then proceeded to engineer the entire infrastructure including loop roads, water distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection systems and storm water management for the Centre at Hagerstown.
FSA also did the annexation surveys to annex 416 acres of land into the City of Hagerstown Corporate Boundary.
